Looking for Simco Ion "Calibrator Reader" software
« on: October 10, 2018, 07:12:20 pm »
Hi, I bought the following unit on Ebay to play around with:
https://technology-ionization.simco-ion.com/products/instrumentation/novx/novx-7000-process-monitor

To my surprise, little info was available on the website of Simco. I contacted the Simco Ion support, and after a few retries I managed to receive the user manual for this unit. But for the software they said "we will look into what is possible", but no feedback since...

I have no idea if the "Calibrator Reader" software needed to be purchased, or it came free with the purchase of the unit. Currently my unit beeps when its turned on due to missing RS485 comms, and they is no way using the internal dip switches to turn this alarm off.

If somebody knows where I can get this software, this would be greatly appreciated.
