how to fix Fluke 116 cal err calibration error??

The fluke manual desc "Calibration required. Meter calibration is required before the Meter will operate"

Is there anything the end user can do to resolve this error without sending it to a test facility?

It needs to be sent back to Fluke for this type of error as far as I know.
