Dose any one know where I can get an Argus 3 Data cable Or the remote for an Argus 3?

Any universal remote will work. Just correlate the keys on the original remote provided by EEV. It was either a One for All TV zapper or the Philips equivalent.

I have seen at least 5 different remote controls used over Argus 3 and Argus 4. SRU1010 and SRP1001 look like more recent models.

I made a simple RS-232 Cable like described in the attachment,
works fine on my cam.

If you can fix the original then that's OK, but the pricey bit is the Fischer plug to make a useable / permanent fix rather than push in pins just as a quick test.

It is Fischer 102 series.  Any clones out there ?

You could also get a new plug-socket pair and fit that in the hole.  Internal wiring is easy and labelled.

Thanks for the confirmation of the Fischer connector series. I have yet to find a clone of the Fischer connector though.

Came across some of these Fischer connectors on eBay, and made up some new data cables, and there are some spares.
As the image these are short adaptor leads, 400mm long, not exact replicas of the original camera cable.

These allow PC access to remote control, set up and download images from an Argus3.
The matching customer software is available on fire-tics.co.uk

Yes it is the same connector as an Argus2, but it does not allow you to do anything that useful.

First offering to forum before eBay (at a higher price).  GBP25 each, post included to UK/Europe. 
Ask for postage to USA etc.
