Bad experience with FLIR one gen 2

Ok FLIR one gen 2 given to me as a present Xmas 2016. It has the won’t power up won’t power down won’t turn on charge light. Won’t do anything. Have read all about the fixes for this and nothing works. FLIR says out of warranty won’t do anything about it. I want a thermal camera that I can run from iOS. I still like the FLIR but I am concerned about reliability. So has the gen 3 or pro fixed the conditions plaguing the gen 2. Or would a Seek be better. Or some other recommendation under $400

Find a used Seek Compact PRO(new ones aren't such a great deal money-wise).
Your options are very slim at under $400, as the good stuff starts from there and goes up.

Have you taken it apart yet ?  If not sounds like you have nothing to lose.
A lot of these seem to be battery related so needs an internal fix not just software prodding from outside.

Several teardowns to guide you, easy once past the sticky tape holding the case together.

Oh yeah I have had it apart. Battery will charge is charged. Don't matter now broke the connector between the main board and the lighting connector. So looking for what would be a good replacement. Don't need another 3 uses and it is junk product.

Do not forget to sell your Lepton 3 core on eBay. You will likely get more for it than for the whole faulty FLIR One G2 !
