DIY-Thermocam help in Sydney
« on: March 11, 2019, 03:38:24 am »
Hi,

A few years ago I built Max Ritter's DIY Thermocam. https://github.com/maxritter/DIY-Thermocam

It went together fine but I couldn't program the Teensy microcontroller. I only have Macs and couldn't get my head around the Mac upload procedure. I convinced a work colleague with a PC to have a go and after a bit of work he managed to get the firmware installed.

I couldn't leave well enough alone and I tried to update the firmware with the procedure for a Mac and it failed and I believe it wiped the original firmware.

I was hoping someone in Sydney, Australia, with more knowledge than me in programing (that's not going to take much) could have a go at reinstalling the firmware for me. I'm happy to pay for your time.

I've fumbled my way around uploading to Arduinos a couple times but it seems the Teensy needs something more than I can do.

Thanks,
Rick

Just install a Windows VM if you're unable to run it on the Mac directly.
