Well Christmas is upon us and New Year is just around the corner. To those who celebrate Christmas, I hope you have a wonderful day.

I also hope you all have a wonderful and prosperous 2019 and continue to enjoy your hobbies  :)

thanks and happy New Year to you as well. How has your new year's resolution worked out for you so far?

I really debated to do a Christmas story in thermal this year to give to this forum. But my phone only works for like 4 minutes with the camera on and he lens I made isn't quite useable.

I kept to my New Years resolution and severily curtailed my camera purchases. I did buy the odd special interest camera that could not be ignored though :) I let some very nice thermal cameras pass me by but hopefully they found good homes.

The cameras I purchased during this year were limited to the following......

FLIR E40bx ..... it was a bargain so I bought it.
FLIR PM695 .....it was in superb condition and a bargain so I bought it.
Monroe branded version of ISG Elite configured for building surveys.... A bargain so I bought it.
Bullard T3MAX+ .... it was a bargain so I bought it.
Bullard Eclipse LD .... I wanted one of theses for ages.... it was a bargain so I bought it.
360 Vision Thermal CCTV .... contains a TAU2 324 ..... it was a bargain so I bought it.
Electrophysics 7290AX NIR/SWIR (0.4um-1.9um) lab camera .... it was a bargain so I bought it.

As can be seen, all of the cameras were purchased at prices that I could not resist. All were from eBay auctions.

Many nice cameras tempted me but I held my resolve. I stopped looking on eBay to avoid temptation. There were some lovely Thermal Eye 4500 and 3600 cores that sold for only £30. That hurt the 'bargain hunter' within me but a fellow forum member bought them so I was pleased to help him where able.
