TE Q1 lens
« on: March 03, 2017, 09:19:51 pm »
Hello, I'm want to buy a TE Q1, but I need to know if the lens of the therm-app fit with TE Q1, or are totally different. I have the therm-app with 6.8mm,13mm,19mm, 35mm, and I don't want to spend 100 USD only for the lens of 13mm.

PD:Sorry for my bad english.

I would be surprised if the lenses were a direct fit.
I have a TE-Q1 here and the thread of the lens seems to be roughly M16x0.5 (metric?!) but I've got nothing here to do a proper measurement.

Anyway it would be interesting if anyone really measured the lens thread on both cameras!

EDIT: I think I found some info on the ThermApp lenses. Seems like they produced by Umicore (most of them) and Ophir Optronics.

http://www.ophiropt.com/infrared-optics/catalog-infrared-lenses/athermalized-lens-for-uncooled-cameras-

However: regarding the data from eom.umicore.com all the lenses use a 25x0.5mm thread - so defininately not the same as the TE-Q1...
