Thermal Expert SDK
« on: December 02, 2018, 05:35:48 pm »
I'm trying to test the camera under Linux, but I've been unable to find the SDK in their web page, I sent an email asking for it but I've got no answer from them. Does anybody here have the SDK for the TE-Q1?

Do you have the SDK for Windows 64bits ? I've finally got an answer from them but they don't include it, just Windows 32bits and both for Linux.

Interesting question but I have to say no - seems like they do not have/give away a 64bit Version of the Windows binaries... I have two different version of the SDK (from 2017 and 2018) with different APIs but both are x86 windows only. But why not compile x86 only - usually there is no serious reason for x64 unless you have some dependency that is x64 only. Altough I have to admit that I also tend to compile everything to x64 if possible.

Probably one more 'reason' (or excuse?) for me to go the WinUSB/LibUSB way rather then with the SDK.  ::) ;D

I compile x64 because all the rest of the libraries that I've compiled are x64 (boost, opencv, qt, etc). But anyway, finally I got a x64 version, available at https://drive.google.com/open?id=1rwWtmJrbp-BCsznOQOoQXV1qcWEeEluz

Ah, nice - finally a x64 Version available. Thank for sharing!
Do you happen to have the other binaries (i.e. Linux) also for this Version 2.8.13? Because the latest that I have got is 2.8.7 - not sure how much change there is but good to have the most recent one anyway. ;)
