She built everything into the joystick.

After my Ohio Scientific c24p computer, the c-64 was my daily driver. Even had one souped up with ribbon cables to the hard drive. Don't remember who modded it. Long gone just have a few plain ones staring at me.

Used to bring one into work to shame my boss into getting me a x86 ibm clone to do my bi-weekly efficiency reports.

Was into spreadsheets on a green screen and loved them, but now there is so much bloat on any spreadsheet app, it's no longer fun.

Fake keyboard is just stupid, either make it a functional keyboard or don't bother IMO.

The C64 built into a joystick was pretty cool, I could never figure out why they stopped making that. My friend had one he modded to use a real Commodore floppy drive.

Please read the description and look at the pictures.  The whole unit is not much bigger than a hand, so there is no point in having real keys.  It supports USB keyboards.

So just put it in a plain box styled in the same way as a C64 peripheral, or in the joystick like the previous retro C64 did. I've never liked fake stuff.
