HP-35: Happy 45th anniversary!

This year is the 45th anniversary one of the milestone in computer history and dream of any engineer :  the HP-35, i.e. "the slide rule killer", the first world's  pocket scientific calculator.

"Every aspect of the calculator was a challenge...", said Dave Cochran in an interview from 2007...

For a retro nostalgic (as I'm), it was a gold mine... Sadly, some key schematics of the hardware was gone after he died in 2015...

I still have mine & it still works. Bought new in Sept 1973.

Except NiCd battery pack replacement and some peel off paint, this calculator is made to last.

Everything about HP-35 is pretty much revolutionary for that time. Many patents are pended regarding it.
