Hi, I'm an electronic engineer based near Derby, UK and I'm currently looking for a new opportunity.

Very few jobs seem to be available locally and was hoping someone here might be able to help.

I have a First Class Masters degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of York and 7 Years industrial experience.

I have a great deal of experience with schematic capture and PCB layout for analogue and digital systems.
I have been responsible for verification, validation and compliance to life safety standards above and beyond EMC & R&TTE
I can take designs from requirements specification through to volume production including prototyping and debugging.
I have also been responsible for working on cost reduction programs for existing and new products.

I have been specialising in low power battery operated wireless devices. This included a great deal of work on SMPS, layout and part selection.

I am also very competent at embedded C programming especially for PIC microcontrollers and also with C# on Windows.

I am interested in working near Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Matlock area.

If you are interested or know of a company in the areas above who might be looking for a solid and competent engineer please contact me here.

CV on request

Thanks

Steven

Is Pektron interesting to you? Seems like you'd be a good fit for what they are generally looking for...no idea if they're hiring at the moment.
