UK based electronic design, and software.

I'm an Electronics Engineer based in Hertfordshire, UK.  BSc in Electronic Engineering and 5 years industry experience.

Experience in PCB design (analogue/digital, limited high speed), microcontroller-based systems (PIC/AVR/ARM, C, assembly), human-machine interfaces (control panel and display) and low power wireless sensors.  Also various utility PC applications for Windows/Linux with GUI front end for control of aforementioned systems.

Previous work has been on:

-Wireless sensor network telemetry
-Wireless firework and confetti cannons
-Wireless guitar system
-Portable low power handheld measurement devices
-Precision measurement
-Various signal converters for the automotive industry (PWM conversion, current-loop interfaces, signal conditioning for PLC).

Specializing in developing lower-cost prototypes for subsystems.

I suggest you join the AmpHour meet-up tomorrow in London if you have the time. No better way to get "info" or be "top of mind" than to hang out with other people like you who might know someone. 

I don't know the UK market well enough yet as I have only recently moved "back". But I'm going there to get to know people (from here) and expand my knowledge of British beer which has been a bit stale since the early 90's (my knowledge that is)

Damnit I missed the reply. I'm sure there are settings for notification emails, although I would probably only like them for this thread.

I too know little about the market, and I realize that networking is everything, perhaps next time around I will remember to pop along!  Thanks for the heads up :)

It hasn't changed that much, other than in price :(
