I might be wrong, but that PSU looks to be an Agilent badged TDK Lambda supply.
I’ve used various sizes of supply like that, and they’re pretty good.

When I watched this the voice was not synchronized with the video. Commentary was ahead of the video. Anyone else find this?
Look forward to the repair video.

I am currently working on a collaboration project with CERN for power supply systems, we are using the TDK power supplies, the much higher current ratings though, 310A and 330A. The difference is that we require very good current regulation so we are doing the current regulation externally on custom DSP controllers.

We have achieved 100ppm total error including noise, 8 hour stability and output nonlinearity in current regulation.

Haha I was remembering seeing these TDK power supplies on the desk of my colleague at CERN. Cheers from BE/RF/FB.

    • Nice!
