Things to print

(1/1)

mendip_discovery:
Now I have a printer I am trying to think of the things I would like to print.

My thoughts so far are,
Drill Guide for banana terminals.
Thermal shield for the calibrator at work and even the 34401A. Just to see how much it makes a difference on thermal EMFs
Thermal shield for K-type thermal couples the calibrator I use has a temp sensor in the connector and if I swap it between the channels I inadvertently warm it up a little. Plus to reduce any drafts.

What other things Electronics/Metrology related should I look at printing?

If I am trying to build a part is there a trick to making the various cutouts. For example, I want to print a project box with a 9pin com port on it, some banana connectors and to finish it off a BNC connector. Do you just keep a library of the cutout shapes and just apply them. Using Fusion 360 for now.

This one should give you the basic concept   -

Not directly Electronics/Metrology related, but I am presently working on a tool carousel for my work benches. I presently have three benches so I will probably make three of them. Each will have custom holes for the hand tools I frequently use at each bench. They should help cut down on the clutter. Or perhaps just make space for more. This is also a learning exercise for FreeCAD.
