Increased GDI Objects in Windows

I have a board that as soon as I open it in Altium I get the yellow box warning me I'm getting close to the GDI object limit.  Has anyone increased the number of GDI objects in windows?  If so did you notice any performance, reliability advantage/disadvantage? 

I have a co-worker who uses Solidworks, and its common procedure for Solidworks user to increase this limit by default.  I didn't know if there was any value in this for Altium or not.  I figured I'd check with the community, I'm sure I'm not the only one with this idea.
