Altium 17, placing dimensions
« on: August 07, 2018, 09:17:11 pm »
Hi.  I'm a newbie here and to Altium a bit as well.  Have used Altium off and on just a bit over the years but never enough to get good at it.
I'm currently designing a board in Altium 17 and when I try to place a dimension, it asks for first reference point and then second reference point and then text placement, but then nothing.  No graphics are visible at all during or after the process.  I'm sure theres a setting somewhere but I just cant find it.  I have checked to make sure that I am placing on a layer that is visible.  Any help greatly appreciated.

 :-DD :-DD :-DD
I solved it.  silly really.  Dimensions were set to hidden on the display panel.
One of the biggest challenges I have found with transitioning between tools is the display control differences.
