Importing an outline from gerbers?
« on: February 01, 2014, 04:33:34 am »
Is there a way in Altium to take a shape from a Gerber file and make it into a region or the like so that it could become a footprint?
I have to import a very complicated antenna shape, and so far have not figured a way. I tried opening it in Camtastic, exporting as a dxf and pulling it in, but that ends up loosing half of the lines. Is there any easier way to do that?
