Altium Designer Keepout Region for Defined Polygon Nets
« on: September 07, 2023, 06:08:14 am »
I want to create a keepout zone for ethernet transformer sub in altium, but only the polygon pour of gnd will be blocked in this zone. I want to allow other polygon pours made in this other zone, how can I do that? i.e. how can I define a custom keepout for gnd?

If you want to define the area with another polygon, you can pour that and set its priority higher than Gnd in the polygon manager.
https://www.altium.com/documentation/altium-designer/pcb-dlg-polygonmanagerformpolygon-pour-manager-ad?version=22

Otherwise, may be able to draw some region and have a DRC rule for InNet GND, IsPoly, etc. not sure on the specific step though. Keepout wouldn't work.
