Altium Designer Pin Editing
« on: November 27, 2024, 07:55:24 pm »
Hi Everyone, trying here since Altium forum is a POS and their ticket system is currently broken.

Anyone know if there is a way to copy/paste to and from the "Component Pin Editor" I swear I used to be able to do this but it no longer gives me the option. Is there a setting to enable maybe?

Select all of the pins you want on the schematic, then in the properties panel, paste whatever you want to paste to apply to all of them.
Is that what you want to do or are you trying to do something else?

There is also this: https://www.altium.com/documentation/altium-designer/schlibgenerationtool-dlg-pindatasmartpastepin-data-smart-paste-ad?version=22

btw I asked to move your post to here: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/altium/

Sorry didn't notice there was a dedicated form.

Ended up finding what I was roughly looking for. Under panels there is SCHLIB List and I was able to select all of my pins and edit them there. Still very strange you can't edit them directly in the component pin editor but this will work for me.
