Altium stuck at creating project

Has anyone encountered Altium getting stuck at creating new projects? I can open, view, modify and save projects.

If I really want, I can copy an old project file to create projects, but I can't create brand new projects from file menu.

It was working just a few days ago, but it suddenly stopped working today.

I'm using Altium 20.0.13, Windows 10 18363 64-bit with EN-US locale.

Tried to reboot and purge Altium preference files, performed a fresh activation and configuration, with no help.

I can see the create new project window, but once I click create, Altium hangs, and the new folder appears in Explorer, with no contents.

Altium ceases to respond to anything, including clicking of the red close button. I can only close it in task manager.

Any suggestion? Should I perform a clean re-installation or should I do what?

Do you have networked template files?

Pretty common to get those sort of issues in apps if you have worked with files over the network and that server has suddenly disappeared.

Okay, I gave it a bit more patience, and it responded and worked after being stuck for a minute or more. This IS a bug!

Exactly the same today. Seems like some evil Altium telemetry server went graceful downgraded globally.

I have a general issue sometime ago, but has solved with firewall settings.
