Zoom into DRC error?
« on: May 16, 2017, 04:41:14 pm »
I'm going through and cleaning up all of the DRC errors in prep for an order.  When I double click on an error it zooms me out and seems to attempt to center on the error. Is there a way to have it zoom all the way in for this so I can actually see where the error is?

In the PCB Violations panel, there's a Zoom Level button at the top.  (A couple other panels have this too, like library view.) :)

Or double-click the error in the Messages panel, which I think defaults to a close zoom.

If the violation happens to be flagging a large polygon, you might simply get the whole polygon, which doesn't help much.  You may have to enter the coordinates in the description (J, L) to find it, then.
