Altium exclude schematic component from BOM, with grapichal cross over.

Hi,

I have a board that on one variant alot of components shall not be included in the BOM.
I have change the type of these components to (Standard no BOM). But i would like to have an graphical indication on the schematic like in the attached pic. This I dont know how to do.

Select the respective assembly variant in the OutJob.  You can do this per-job at the top, or per item (on the right of each item that can produce variants, there is a drop-down selection box that is enabled when the "select per item" choice is selected).

So you cant do this in schematic editor, you need to have an associated PCB to the schematic?
