Changing default color of power objects: "Vcc" and "Gnd"
« on: March 21, 2015, 07:51:25 am »
Hello there,
I want to customize a little bit AD, that is: I changed style of the GND symbol to:
and the colour is good enough, to I would like to have my Vcc (default power port) to be blue - color no. 101).
Is it possible to conduct such changes?
I change styles in options of the toolbar: Customize, then Wiring, I select "place power port" then edit and window appears:
What should I add to line "parameters" to change the color permanently? Maybe there is no option like this?
Please, if you can help me - answer.

Preferences->Schematic->Default Primitives is the place to change the default appearance of objects on insertion.  However, I don't think there's any way to make the default appearance of the Ground power objects different from the Vcc objects by default, if that's what you're asking.  If you want to customize the insertion command in the toolbar, then you can just add the parameter "Color=101" to the parameter string in the "Edit Command" dialog.

I have different styles in those power objects - GND is like above, and Vcc is "arrow style". What I would like to do is this:

I have styles set, only what I need to do to change the color of Vcc from red to "101" manually and then copy object using shift+drag.
Adding to the parameters "|Color=101" does not change Vcc to blue, but to brown and changes the color of the GND as well.
