Cannot set custom version in Project Releaser

(1/1)

ing_barbiz:
Hello!!

I wish to use Project Releaser to release my project.

However, the default version is "A.1" and there seems no way to change it.

What am I doing wrong?

I wish to use "0.1.0" as my release version.

Thanks much!
Marco

SethGPI:
What level of 365 do you have? I believe you have to have a "Pro" subscription or higher to modify the release versioning string.

ing_barbiz:
Hello!

I have the standard plan.

I know I need the Pro for the lifecycle module, but I was hoping to be able at least to force the version.

Otherwise, really it does not make sense to me to use "A.1" as a version scheme...

Thanks
Marco

SethGPI:
Unfortunately, yeah, Altium is trying to milk the most from the users it can. Here is a help page for Version 21 which states you can't change revisions without Pro or above. I can't find a similar text in the Version 25 help page...

For those who don't want to click the link, the page states:

--- Quote ---When connected to an Altium 365 Workspace, note that definition and use of revision naming schemes is not supported with the Standard Subscription Plan. As such, the Custom Revision ID dialog will not be available with this level of access to Altium 365.
--- End quote ---
