Title: Change default grid type
Post by: Araho on September 28, 2018, 07:24:56 am
I'm struggling a bit right now - can't seem to find how to set my default grid type to Lines and not Dots.

I know how to change it for each document/project/library, but currently I need to set it every time I start something new, which is annoying. I don't see this setting in PCB Editor -> Defaults, nor anywhere else in user-wide settings.

Anyone know how to set this?

I think you have to change this in your default file template.  Somewhere in settings there's a section for file templates, so if you change the grid settings in the PcbDoc file you find indicated there that should change it for all of your new PcbDocs in the future.
