Ghost components graphic glitch
« on: July 11, 2023, 02:16:29 pm »
Hi,

I have been having trouble with a graphical glitch in Altium PCB-view. When I'm dragging a component, pads and other things are popping up in green, as seen in the first image below, and disappears when I stop dragging. The things that are appearing seems to belong to other components on the board that I'm guessing has been in that position before. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's quite annoying.

What version of Altium?  Does the problem continue after closing and reopening the PCB file?  Does it continue after closing and reopening Altium?

Sometimes Altium will have an internal error (usually with one of those "Please Wait" dialog boxes and then an error report) and after that will start acting funny because it can no longer update its internal database properly.  When that happens you need to either close and reopen the file or the entire application.

Is your graphics driver up to date?

I think restarting Altium fixed it!
