Circuit Studio differential pair routing
« on: February 23, 2016, 05:20:55 pm »
Currently evaluating Circuit Studio, have been using Eagle for more than 10 years.  Also used AD in the past.

CS has some really good features and the libraries are excellent.

But it looks like there is a major problem in CS

It looks like Interactive Length Tuning is only available in Designer, or am I missing something?  If meandering of differential pairs is not in Circuit Studio, this would be a major problem.  Eagle has this as standard since version 6.

Why would Altium, not put Interactive Length Tuning into CS?
Is this some evil attempt at market segmentation???  |O

More and more designs today used high speed differential signaling.  Even KiCad and Eagle have it where I can set a trace length and get interactive meanders that are length matched.
