« on: December 27, 2017, 12:49:57 am »
My screen is basically crowded by little circles with green X's in them. On the parts.

How do I stop this?

Whats the violation with these parts

The dimensions are per the datasheet

this shows violations - one I can see strait away I think is the overlapping of the silkscreen and the copper pads. To see what are your violations (most probably spacing clearance) right click on the object that has the 'green crosses' and navigate to "violations" and this will show you what you are violating from your current PCB settings

Turn on the HUD (Shift+H) and hover the cursor over the component.  The HUD should give you some text describing the error.  Or run design rule check and look at the report.  If you change your design rules such that whatever violation is shown isn't a problem any more, you may need to do Tools > Reset Error Markers to clear the existing green Xs.

I usually just turn off room generation (Project > Project Options > Class Generation tab) unless it's a multi-channel design, otherwise I find rooms are generally more annoying than helpful.
