Component clearence constraint
« on: February 16, 2021, 06:12:56 pm »
Hi all
Why is there an error regarding a collision if the silkscreen is not touched but only the perimeters of the components are touching?
Is it normal?
In the attached images you can better understand what I'm trying to say.
Thanks

Guessing your screw hole component has no 3D information.  In that case, Altium assumes the rectangular bounding box is its collision volume.

Easy solution, add something to the model, representative of what fits inside it.  If nothing, maybe a grain of sand.
