Text on Inverted Layer???
« on: December 22, 2022, 11:12:00 pm »
Shown below on my four-layer pcb:
  - rectangle keepouts on all four layers (such that I can see daylight through the PCB), and then:
  - each of the four layers numbered (so I can see clearly when the boardshop screws up my stackup).

L2 and L3 are inverted GND plane layers.  L1 and L4 are regular top and bot.

The no-copper rectangles are acheived by:
  - rectangle on keepout layer affects L1 and L4, and...
  - etch polygon on L2 and L3 cuts out the inverted layers OK.

But I can't get text on L2 and L3.   What am I dpoing wrong?

Solved.   The dorks at Altium decided to hide the "Invert" button, depending on what type of font you use.
