Track width error [SOLVED]
« on: February 16, 2021, 03:40:05 pm »
Hi all
I've placed all the components in the PCB. I've run the DESIGN RULE CHECK.
I've got width constraint error... I cannot understand it since I've got still no tracks in the PCB...
The error is referred to the first pin of the headers...
I attach the error, the image of the footprint of one of the headers with the error and the error shown as "< 0.3mm" (the min track width rule I've chosen) in the PCB after the error check.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Can you check the footprint? Is there some fragment of a trace on the top layer? What's the bulge on the left hand side of pad 1?

I've disassembled the footprint and I've found a track under every first pin of the headers!
I haven't drawn them consciously...
Mistery
Now that I've deleted them all those errors are gone.

Great! Its easily done, just for future note, if you use single-layer mode and scroll through the layers it makes things like that stand out a bit easier for problem finding
