Does Altium's Active BOM require an active subscription?

Hi,
I haven't been using active BOM since the subscription expired and when I tried today it didn't seem to work. None of the components seemed recognised so the "Manufacturer Part" window at the bottom was empty instead of showing the part and the availability from the various distributors.

Does anybody know if you do need an active subscription for it to work?

I don't think so...?

But I use an old version that doesn't support updated suppliers' web APIs, so I can't test it anyway.
