Altium Designer crashing when saving as PCB Binary 4.0 file
« on: September 28, 2016, 11:46:05 pm »
Hi,

I am creating a PCB in Altium 2016 version, and trying to save in the native Protel 99SE .pcb (PCB Binary 4.0) file format for backwards compatibility purposes, as other CAD designers in our office use exclusively Protel. However whenever I try save as .pcb in Altium, the program crashes. Any solution to this so I can open my PCB designs in Protel?

Thanks.

Huh, just doing this now on a random board, it seems to freeze... no CPU usage, no crash.

Call up support. :-//
