Title: Fanout anyone?

Hi all.
I'm currently working on a PCB project that contains an Altera Cyclone III with the 484 BGA package. Now I'm trying to figure out how the fanout option works as used on the Nanoboard 3000 (in the examples folder). Could anyone explain how the auto fanout works? I can't get it to work. On this moment only two of the four layers are fanned out when I try the auto fanout mode.
