Found part on Digikey.... Altium can't find it!!

(1/1)

Found this part on Digikey...
https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/linear-integrated-systems-inc/SST201-SOT-23-3L-ROHS/14312266

But when I do a manufacturers part search it doesn't come up.  Can I manually insert it and create a link to Digikey like Altium does. I can manually add the properties but can I also add the link at the bottom with the datasheet button or is that just something that Altium does on its own?

Create your schematic part which I assume you have done.  Then go to Manufacturer part search and put in the digikey part number and search.  From there you can down load the info.  I just tried it on one of the parts I created.

ahbushnell:
I just tried it with your part and nothing.  :<  There are three types of parts depending on the packaging.  I wonder if that has something to do with it.  I guess I would do it manually.  Or try mouser or something else.  Good luck

This happens to me regularly, even when I give altium the full digikey part number.  It's also infuriating how altium insists on "searching" with a digikey part number, and makes me dig through the results for the one I input in the first place.
