Git Tag text string

Hello,
I would like to use Git for our Altium products. I would like to put the revision in the PCBdoc and Gerber outputs taken from the GitTag, such that in the PCB I have a string something like .Projectname+.GitTag.
Do you know if such a feature exist on Altium?

If you are using 365 it is =VersionControl_RevNumber and =VersionControl_RevNumberShort

However, if you are not, I don't know if that holds true.

There are also =VersionControl_ProjFolderRevNumber and =VersionControl_ProjFolderRevNumberShort for looking at the project as a whole.
