Hi,
I have found some SODIMM design files from this link

All of them are designed with allegro, so How can I import them into altium? I do not have an allegro installation? is there any workaround or is there any free version of allegro?

Thanks, do you have exteract.exe, so I can test it without installing allegro

Stop asking for this. No sane person will upload online parts of a very expensive software.

And there are just 2 alternatives AFAIK:
First one and the recommended is Paul Daniels (also a member of this forum)
excellent free and paid application which can handle several types of brd files

the Second alternative is the total LEGACY and shit applet from LANDREX
which you can find in some "LEGACY-ware" or abandon ware forums..
It is a total piece of shit but can read some boards the other can't.
BTW it runs on WINE.

I and forgot to mention that there are other brd formats that
unfortunately will only open under allegro (allegro_free_viewer)
BRD format is a total mess

OpenBoardView it will run in linux, I'm windows guy, can it be run on windows? also can it export it to a format that altium can open it?
Also Do you have any link or info for LANDREX?

I could find windows exe files in release folder of OpenBoardView , But unfortunately, It can not open any of the *.brd files, that I got from jedec :palm:

beware that this stuff is *old* crippled and "as is" everywhere..
nobody cares to this shit anymore... the BRD stuff is mostly
a bunch of pig shit ...
some trying to sell *BRD stuff for techs and repair folks.. :scared:
