Altium simulation not working correctly?? :o
« on: April 24, 2021, 09:14:00 pm »
Hi,
I use the latest Altium (updated a couple of days ago) and I was trying to simulate a circuit and was not giving the results I expected.

So I simplified it over and over again until I got to a very basic resistor and capacitor circuit. And it still does not seem to work.

For example in the attached resistors/capacitor circuit, changing the resistor values of R1 and R2 (even by very large amounts) does not change the results...

The sim setup gives "green" on all setup checks...

Attached is the full schematic/sim.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you

I haven't used the Altium simulator, but have you checked...

If it's like a lot of other SPICE packages, 1M = 1 milliohm. Try setting them to "1Meg"

mkissin is absolutely right - you've shorted input to VCC. I make this mistake like twice a week. Gotta be 1Meg
