« on: August 03, 2016, 06:12:43 pm »
Today I was seeing a PCB project and I realised that the vias are so beautiful. look at 'em:

And when I removed one of them:

so nice!
how can I create such a via in Altium?

I think you are looking for something called a teardrop. I have it in my cad, EasyPC and its not related just to vias but to all pads. I think it is there to add strength to the pads? Anyway for me there is an option to teardrop all pads. Maybe that helps?

Select the vias/pads you want to flow, then:
tools
teardrop
and the menu pops up to add the primitives

Its a pain to remove them as they're just adding primitives so leave it until the layout is finished, and they only work on 90/45 lines.
