I've been tearing my hair out here for a bit and I can't seem to make sense of this.
I've got a large-ish grid of passives on my board that are grouped densely enough to where I need to relocate all the component designators to a separate area of the board.
I have no problems filtering the designators to select only the ones I want, but that's where I hit a wall. If I grab one of the designators, only the one I grabbed will move. The others stay in place. I've tried unlocking the primitives on the components, creating a union of the designators, and various other things. The alignment tools also choke on them in strange ways. Selecting the designators and choosing "Distribute horizontally/vertically" or "Increase horizontal/vertical spacing" spreads them apart in decidedly non-uniform ways.
Moving single designators works just as you would expect, but there's seemingly no way to move multiple designators as a group. Any ideas?
I would very much like to avoid having to move them one by one, as there are quite a few of them and I'm unsure of exactly how to place them to make them fit in their new positions.
Thanks!
