3D View Bottom Layer
« on: December 28, 2013, 02:22:53 pm »
Hello everyone, i am having a problem with Altium 13.2.
When switching to 3D mode, i can see all lines and pads on the top layer, but the bottom layer looks empty.

Any idea why? On the picture postet should be lines visible on the bottom layer.

I'm going to guess that your transparency setting for the bottom solder-mask layer is set to opaque, which prevents you from seeing the copper through the solder-mask layer.  If you increase the transparency (make it less opaque; I don't remember if 0% or 100% is opaque), the masked bottom layer copper should become visible.  When in 3D view, the transparency settings are found in the layers (shortcut 'L') dialog box.  I'm not at my work computer to look it up, but you should be able to find the settings.  Hopefully that is the problem.

Amazing thats true ! The Opac was on 100% so it was not visible lol.

Thank you very much =)

Can you set the defaults for these settings so they are used on every board?
