DXP 2004
« on: June 15, 2012, 02:20:38 am »
Hello all.

Sorry if this is a silly question but in Altium DXP 2004, every time I want to update a PCB document from a schematic file, the "Engineering Change Order" wants to delete all my design rules by default, so with each update I have to un-click about two dozen check boxes. This is annoying. Is there a option or preference setting buried somewhere which I can select to stop it from doing this?

Cheers,
Glen

The design rules shouldn't be affected by an ECO as far as I know.

Are you meaning that some of the component properties or nets are changing?

Hi,

Here is the ECO window. Each time I have 25 "Remove Rules" check boxes to un tick.

I don't have a solution for you, but you know you can right click in that area and select "Disable all of same Kind" ?  That cuts it down to a couple of clicks.
