Hello everyone

I am designing a board with some through-hole components. I noticed in my Gerber files that Altium seems to add small circular copper islands at positions that will be drilled during manufacturing. I'm not quite sure why it does that and if it could be a problem?

Weirdly, these islands do not show up when I look at the polygon in the polygon manager, they do however show up in the Gerber files?

I tried using the polygon option "remove islands less than" but to no avail.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong in the Gerber export options.
