Renamed Database Library
« on: October 08, 2020, 10:18:32 am »
Hi all,

I have a large database library which I have moved and renamed. Is there anyway to easily get schematics to point to the new database library without changing each component individually? I'm sure I remember an option to do this? I thought it was in update from libraries but nothing obvious there?

Cheers,

Dave

I think it is Tools > Item Manager, but i have never had to do this.

I tried that but didn't find anything useful. I can't believe this is so hard. Surely this must be a common occurrence!

I think you should be able to change that property using the parameter manager. Filter on only parts and then change the Library column for all parts. I think that should work. Recompile after doing that and see if anything breaks.

You sir are a legend! Thank you so much. I had the "Exclude system parameters" box checked so I couldn't see the library column!  :palm: Thanks again!
