Interactive Length Tuning Violates DRC

I am using the interactive length tuning function, and it is placing accordian segments in violation of my DRC rules.  Is there something I am missing to make sure that they are using DRC?  I'm currently using 19.0.12, I don't have 18 on my PC anymore, not sure I can get it back at this point.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Actually i only saw this when i had to tune the length of a differential pair. There the legnthtuning of course violates the DRC-Rules. How else should the length be tuned there? :)

OP: what rules are being violated?  What geometry is being violated?

Regarding diff pairs, that's simply an overzealous setting.  Even into the picosecond range of edge rates, it's not very important to keep pairs closely associated, in terms of separation distance and length of separation.

I have set a clearance rule within my Net Class for my DDR3.  When I use interactive routing to connect nets the rule is applied.  When I use interactive length tuning it places accordions in violation to the same clearance rule.
