PCB Editor: All Lines are Filleted
« on: April 10, 2024, 08:07:14 pm »
I'm fairly new to Altium Designer and so I still run into silly things I can fix sometimes. I am working on the silkscreen of a very simply board, and I would like to place a line pointing from a label to a component. Usually I would just hit P >> L and draw away, but today, if I try to draw a line with both x and y component, that line becomes a fillet instead of a straight diagonal line. I have attached a picture of what I mean ("Filleted Line.png"). I have also attached a picture of what I'm trying to achieve ("Diagonal Line.png").

The only hints I can find within Altium is that when I am placing a line, the message at the bottom of the window reads "Line 90 End With Arcplane Line". I have tried Googling, reading Altium documentation, and reading through previous posts, but I have not found a solution to getting diagonal lines back.

Has anybody encountered this before? How did you fix it?

Thanks

Hit shift-space when placing the track to cycle through the corner modes (curved, diagonal, square, etc).
