Delete ALL Overlay?
« on: March 18, 2014, 06:42:01 pm »
I've designed my board, and I'm trying to get rid of ALL overlay on it. I've been double-clicking the text and clicking hide (not sure if this is even working), but I can't manage to get the damn part outlines. I want a top overlay in my panel once I take this to panelization, but not on the board. I tried deleting the top overlay from the layer stack manager, but that didn't seem to help.

Any ideas?

simply do not generate that layer in the gerber output.
create your own overlay on a mechanical layer and export that as overlay

I get what you're saying and that's what I did do, but I'm using Altium's panelization tool and I need the panel to have silk screen.

unlock all components (unlock primitives) then select the top overlay, then delete
