« on: January 06, 2015, 05:30:59 pm »
Hi trying to get started with altium, is there any way to remove a part of the silkscreen without editing the part in the library,
couldn't figure it out yet . ???
Update:
Right click -> Component Actions -> Explode Selected Components To Free Primitves

maybe some one know a way without to explode the component?

If you are looking to edit a single instance of a part, you can just double click on the part and un-check the "Lock Primitives" option under component properties.  With the primitives unlocked, you can select and modify any of the component's individual primitives.  After you delete the unwanted silkscreen, double click the part again and re-check "lock primitives" to prevent further changes.
