Altium - Slow to save imported CircuitMaker schematic

Hi all

I have been using Circuit Maker for a while and a issue that caused so many problems a few years ago started again.
The software crashed and had a "catastrophic failure" and this basically destroys the project.
You can't even go back reversions to restore working files.

I have pulled the files into Altium Designer and they open.
But saving the schematic takes 5 mins each time.


Any ideas?

So one of the components in the schematic was the issue.

Normally the schematic file is like 300KB but this one component was making it 6MB.
Removing it solves this issue.


[edit2] now Altium crashes and CM just fails to download.
