Title: Reverting back to previous AD version from 25.7
Post by: jmarkwolf on January 07, 2026, 01:57:20 pm
Back in late 2024 I opted to take advantage of reduced license AD renewal costs for a term of 3 years, with the understanding I could let newer subsequent versions lapse and revert back to my then current version 24.10 in perpetuity. This was a new Renesas initiative as I recall.

I informed my current account manager of my desire to do so, she confirmed I had this option, that version 24.10 was "still on my computer", and that the next time I "logged in" that it would automatically revert to the previous version.

I fear I mis-heard her instructions and am unsuccessful at making this happen. Her phone number now appears to be disconnected or something.

Can anyone shed light on reverting back to my preferred version?

If you don't have the 24.10 anymore : download it from the downloads page, install in a DIFFERENT directory from what you have, and point it to the license file.
That's all.

I have several parallel installs. It is important to tell it during install where you want it. If you don't it simply deploys in the default and overwrites what is there.
